Automation & Dev Ops Engineer (On-site Centurion)

About the role
A senior, technically broad DevOps and requirements engineering role. The person will work across requirements management, continuous integration pipelines, agile tooling, and DevOps infrastructure, while also contributing to digital transformation strategy. This is a high-complexity role requiring both business analysis thinking and deep technical execution capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and optimise current requirements practices across SGD engineering projects.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Establish agile development environment: CI, continuous reviewing, testing, delivery, and deployment.
- Design and maintain Jira-based problem reporting system across hardware, software, and test benches.
- Set up, manage, and maintain LDAP server/database for user authentication.
- Collaborate with SAAB Global for IaaS and CaaS deployments.
- Perform script development, maintenance, and updates.
- Assist in maintaining and migrating legacy tools (CVS, SVN, PVCS, Track).
- Build DevOps dashboards and reporting.
- Contribute to Cyber Security requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years industry experience in product development domain (beneficial).
- Formal requirements management tool experience - DOORS (9.7 + Next).
- Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Continuous Integration experience.
- Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- SQL & MySQL database experience.
- Containerised environment experience beneficial: Docker, PodMan, K8s.
- Knowledge of IaaS and IaC beneficial.
- Alignment to RTCA/DO-178, RTCA/DO-254, ARP4754A standards.
- B.Eng (Electronic/Computer Engineering) or Computer Science degree — Honours/Masters advantageous.
- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills; structured and quality-orientated.
