Your Role

• Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control solution to company’s CapEX projects thru different project phases
• Develop instrumentation specification, control system architecture, functional description, and system integration requirement that will satisfy process and safety requirements and complying with company’s design standards.
• Interface with external EPC and system integrator to successfully deliver integrated process control system and safety instrumented system to company’s plants on-time, on-budget, and meeting user requirement.
• Interface with project manager, engineers from other disciplines, and vendors to develop and implement instrumentation and control systems.
• Being an internal subject matter expert in instrumentation selection, control system configuration, control logic & programming, and data data aggregation & visualization.
• Keep good communication, coordination, collaboration, and follow-up ability; able to execute assignments from project team with minimal supervision. Act flexibly to cope with changing conditions.

 

Who You Are 

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
• Working Experiences: Minimum 6 years experience in instrumentation and control system design, preferably in chemical industry/plant
• Good understanding and experience in control systems (i.e., DCS, PLC, and SCADA), with a strong focus on Siemens or Allen Bradley systems; experience in instrumentation and control loops design
• Familiar with hazardous area/zone classification, experience in explosion-proof design and in safety instrument system design (SIL), familiar with processes safety analysis (HAZOP)
• Comprehensive understanding of control system architectures, instrumentation, and system integration.
• Basic project management abilities, including scoping, budgeting, and timeline management
• Technical and detail-oriented, team player
• Communicable English skil
