About the role

The Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. This position is responsible for analysing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements by conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys with stakeholders.
  • Analyse current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Develop detailed business analysis documents, including functional specifications, process maps, and user stories.
  • Work closely with IT teams and project managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of new systems or processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Perform data analysis to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Figma, BPMN, process mapping).
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) is a plus.
