The Opportunity
As a Design Coordinator, you'll play a key role in coordinating design documentation and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-quality, buildable projects. Working across multiple project stages, you'll help ensure designs are accurate, compliant and ready for construction.
· Coordinate and distribute design documentation across internal and external stakeholders.
· Maintain and update document control registers
· Support the Design Manager in ensuring design documentation adheres to relevant codes and standards (NCC, BCA, Australian Standards).
· Act as the liaison between consultants, Project Managers, Estimators, and Construction teams regarding design-related matters.
· Coordinate the collection, review, and tracking of consultant deliverables to meet design program deadlines
· Assist in the preparation and formatting of key design documents and reports.
About You
· 3-5 years in Architecture or Building Design.
· Tertiary qualification in Building Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or relevant discipline.
· Experience in social / affordable housing and SDA preferred but not essential.
· Experience in low rise class 2 apartments advantageous.
· Experience with MS Project & Bluebeam an advantage.
· Familiarity with NCC, Australian Standards and design-related legislation.
· Strong organisational & documentation management skills.
· Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
