About the role

As the FLT Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the FLT operations, overseeing a dedicated team of forklift operators, and ensuring smooth and safe material handling throughout our facility. Your leadership will drive high standards of safety, productivity, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the FLT team, ensuring efficient and safe operation of forklift trucks within the warehouse and production areas.
- Schedule and coordinate daily FLT activities to support production and despatch requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies related to forklift operations.
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and hazards.
- Provide training and guidance to FLT operators to develop their skills and promote best practices.
- Liaise with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues.
Working hours: Dayshift
Requirements
- Proven experience as an FLT operator with previous supervisory or team leader responsibilities.
- Valid forklift truck license and thorough knowledge of FLT safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
