The Brazilian Portuguese Game Linguist role is to translate from English into Brazilian Portuguese in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity and a passion for Games.

The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at Calz. Gral. Mariano Escobedo 218, Anáhuac I Secc, Miguel Hidalgo, 11320 Ciudad de México, CDMX. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on in game content for a leading games publisher.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Translate, review and perform linguist tasks for in-game / non-in game content from English to Brazilian Portuguese to a high quality standard
• Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved
• Collaborate with other linguists on the project

Requirements

• Native level Brazilian Portuguese speaker
• Passion for games industry
• Educational qualification in linguistics or equivalent experience
• Experience in translation, copywriting or linguistics
• Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills both in Brazilian Portuguese and English
• Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
