About the role
Senior .NET Developer
Interpath
Gurugram, India
Interpath is a financial advisory business offering a wide range of specialist services in an agile, independent, and conflict-free environment. We provide the full spectrum of restructuring solutions—from business performance improvement and value creation to stress, distress, and insolvency support. Our advisory practice also includes corporate finance, transaction services, valuations, debt advisory, tax, pensions, forensic accounting, and e-discovery. We work with clients across all market segments, from regional SMEs to large multinational organisations, helping them create, defend, preserve, sustain, and grow value through every stage of the business cycle.
Interpath’s Business Applications team delivers and supports the internal systems that drive our operations. We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to strengthen our in‑house capability, contributing immediately across a mixed modern/legacy estate while shaping our future cloud and modernisation strategy.
This hands-on role requires an experienced full-stack .NET developer who takes ownership, applies strong engineering discipline, and collaborates with technical teams and business stakeholders to design and deliver reliable solutions. The role involves enhancing existing applications, delivering new functionality, and balancing pragmatism with long-term maintainability.
Security is central to this role, with a focus on secure-by-design development, applying best practices (e.g., OWASP-aligned) and addressing risks early through design, peer review, and robust implementation.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
End-to-end software delivery (build, change and improve).
Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET applications, taking ownership from definition to production. Deliver changes safely, improve codebases incrementally, and ensure solutions are maintainable and meet standards.
Production mindset: support, troubleshooting and reliability.
Support live systems through issue diagnosis, root cause analysis, and preventative fixes. Enhance operability with better logging, diagnostics, and clear documentation to reduce key-person risk and improve incident resolution.
Cloud migration and modernisation support.
Assist with migrating IIS-hosted applications to Azure App Services, addressing readiness, remediation, and operational requirements. Contribute to cloud-aligned practices like configuration management and environment separation for safe, supportable hosting.
Secure SDLC and security-aware engineering.
Apply secure coding practices (access control, configuration, secrets handling, input validation), address vulnerabilities early, and participate in security-focused peer reviews to embed security into design and delivery.
Mentoring, knowledge sharing and raising standards.
Support team capability through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. Influence quality and ways of working through collaboration, clear technical communication, and example.Top of FormBottom of Form

Our four core values are the cornerstones of culture at Interpath and steer everything from everyday decisions to larger strategic initiatives. Our Interpath Values are;
- Our comfort zone is uncomfortable. We always make the right decision, not simply what is easy or popular.
- stand shoulder-to-shoulder with colleagues and clients, be that physically or from afar. Our individual expertise may find the answers, but implementation happens though teamwork.
- The impossible is always possible. We push the boundaries of what is expected because we're never satisfied with the status quo. Our clients expect the right result when they engage with us, and it's only by delivering this that we win.
- cultures to mindsets, we welcome all. We believe that people are equal, but not the same.

SQL Server and data competence.
Good familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL object development (e.g., queries, views and stored procedures), with an appreciation for performance, maintainability and safe change practices in live environments.
APIs and integration mindset.
Experience designing and consuming APIs, with an understanding of secure integration concepts and building supportable interfaces that can be operated and maintained long term.
