About the role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Product Owner (H/F) to join our Product Management team in Hary, France.

In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams, ensuring that product priorities are translated into clear, actionable requirements that drive value for our users and business.

You will own and maintain the product backlog, collaborate closely with Product Management and development teams, and support the successful delivery of innovative product capabilities aligned with our strategic objectives.

This position requires strong communication skills, experience working in Agile environments, and the ability to transform complex business needs into well-defined product requirements. You will report directly to the Product Manager / CPO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager, internal stakeholders, and customers to gather, analyze, and clarify business and user requirements.
  • Translate requirements into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items ready for development.
  • Estimate and assess feature scope, complexity, dependencies, and delivery effort in collaboration with the development team.
  • Work with the Product Manager to prioritize features based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, market trends, and roadmap objectives.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-structured, up to date, prioritized, and aligned with product strategy.
  • Act as the main point of contact for product-related questions, providing clear updates on scope, priorities, progress, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Work closely with the development team to support timely delivery of product increments and ensure requirements are understood throughout the delivery cycle.
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria, user needs, and expected business outcomes.
  • Partner with the support team to ensure complete, accurate, and user-friendly product documentation.
  • Support product releases by contributing to release notes, internal enablement, demos, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

Professional Background

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience with Agile software delivery.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or Power BI.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong ability to translate complex business needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
  • Good technical understanding of software platforms, APIs, integrations, cloud environments, and data flows.
  • Ability to assess scope, dependencies, risks, and delivery effort in collaboration with development teams.
  • Strong backlog management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Structured, collaborative, and delivery-focused mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, data products, or analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of automotive, cost engineering, sustainability, benchmarking, or engineering-related domains.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Familiarity with data-driven product development approaches.
