About the role

Williams Parker, the region’s oldest law firm, is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3+ years of experience to join our established and growing practice in Sarasota, Florida. This role focuses on general real estate and commercial leasing, working alongside a collaborative team of experienced attorneys on a broad range of sophisticated matters.

About the Practice

Our real estate practice group includes board-certified specialists and advises clients on commercial and residential transactions, leasing, condominium and subdivision development, banking and finance, and title insurance. Our attorneys work together as a team to provide clients with expert guidance in all phases of their transactions and regardless of the level of complexity. No other firm has our experience or our deep connections to the region’s top real estate professionals, buyers, sellers, developers, and investors.

Requirements

  • Education & Licensure: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; member of The Florida Bar or eligible and willing to sit for the Florida Bar in the near term.
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally with exposure to real estate matters; willingness to develop through hands-on experience and mentorship.
  • Client Service: Demonstrates a responsive, service-oriented approach and builds trust with clients while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and works effectively with colleagues and clients to support successful outcomes.
  • Analytical Skills: Applies sound judgment and problem-solving skills to real estate transactions and related matters.
  • Initiative: Brings a strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn and contribute to the team’s success.
  • Execution & Organization: Manages multiple matters efficiently, meets deadlines, and maintains attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
