About the role

Our client in the UK is seeking an engaging and commercially minded Sales Support / Sales Development Representative to join their team. This role involves supporting the recruitment activities, managing candidate and client communications, and helping drive the growth of the business. The ideal candidate will enjoy speaking with people, building relationships, and contributing to a high-performing sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with candidates and clients via phone, email, and other channels to support recruitment activities.
  • Qualify and generate new leads to support sales and recruitment targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Assist the recruitment team in scheduling, follow-ups, and data management.
  • Support commercial goals by contributing ideas and approaches that improve client engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience in recruitment, preferably with exposure to candidate and client outreach.
  • Comfortable making calls and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Persuasive, commercially minded, and goal-oriented.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
