Storage Platform Engineer

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Administer and maintain enterprise storage infrastructure across production, DR, and non-production environments.</li> <li>Perform storage provisioning, capacity management, performance tuning, replication management, and lifecycle planning.</li> <li>Lead storage hardware and software upgrades, firmware updates, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.</li> <li>Manage SAN environments, storage networking, zoning, multipathing, and connectivity troubleshooting.</li> <li>Support business-critical insurance applications requiring high availability and stringent recovery objectives.</li> <li>Design and implement storage replication, backup integration, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.</li> <li>Monitor storage utilization, performance metrics, trends, and proactively address capacity or performance risks.</li> <li>Collaborate with infrastructure, database, virtualization, cloud, and security teams during projects and operational activities.</li> <li>Support regulatory and audit requirements related to data retention, protection, security, and operational resilience.</li> <li>Develop and maintain storage architecture documentation, SOPs, operational runbooks, and technical standards.</li> <li>Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and service improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior infrastructure engineers.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
