By registering, you’re putting yourself forward for current and upcoming Technology opportunities across software engineering, infrastructure, and data. We hire across a range of areas and levels — software engineers, low-latency specialists, infrastructure and reliability engineers, and data engineers — and we care about how you think as much as the languages on your CV.</p> <h2>Your Mission/s at Life Trading 🎯</h2> <p><strong>Build &amp; Engineer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain the systems that power our trading and research</li> <li>Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code</li> <li>Solve performance, latency, and reliability challenges in a demanding environment</li> <li>Contribute to architecture and technical decisions as the platform grows</li> </ul> <p><strong>Infrastructure &amp; Reliability:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and operate robust infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring</li> <li>Help keep critical systems fast, stable, and observable</li> <li>Identify and remove bottlenecks across the stack</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data &amp; Tooling:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build data pipelines and tooling that support trading and research teams</li> <li>Improve developer experience and internal tooling across the business</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with traders and quants to understand needs and ship solutions</li> <li>Share knowledge openly and contribute to a strong engineering culture</li> </ul> <h2>What We’re Looking For 👀</h2> <ul> <li>Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems)</li> <li>Proficiency in one or more of C++, Python, Rust, Go, or similar</li> <li>A pragmatic, problem-solving mindset and high standards for quality</li> <li>Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with real ownership</li> <li>Clear communication and a collaborative approach</li> <li>Curiosity about how systems work end to end</li> </ul> <h2>Bonus Points For ✅</h2> <ul> <li>Experience with low-latency, high-performance, or real-time systems</li> <li>Strong Linux, networking, or systems-level knowledge</li> <li>Experience with infrastructure, containers, cloud, or observability tooling</li> <li>Background in trading, fintech, or other performance-critical domains</li> <li>Contributions to open source or personal projects you’re proud of</li> </ul> <h2>A Bit About the Team 🤝</h2> <p>You’ll be joining a capable, collaborative technology team that works closely across the entire business.
