By registering, you’re putting yourself on our radar for current and upcoming Trader opportunities across our markets and desks. We review every submission and reach out when there’s a fit, whether that’s now or down the track as the business grows.</p> <p>Our traders own real risk and real decisions from early on. You’ll work in a fast-moving environment where good judgement, discipline, and a constant drive to improve matter more than a perfect CV. We hire at a range of levels, from early-career traders we’ll train up, through to experienced traders and market makers who can step in and run a book.</p> <h2>Your Mission at Life Trading 🎯</h2> <p><strong>Trading &amp; Execution:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute trading strategies across our markets and products with discipline and precision</li> <li>Monitor positions and manage risk in real time, in line with firm limits and frameworks</li> <li>Identify, test, and act on trading opportunities as market conditions evolve</li> <li>Take ownership of your P&amp;L and the decisions behind it</li> </ul> <p><strong>Analysis &amp; Improvement:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyse market behaviour, flow, and performance to refine your approach</li> <li>Continuously review trades and outcomes to sharpen decision-making</li> <li>Stay across relevant market events, products, and structural changes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with quantitative researchers and technologists to improve strategies and tooling</li> <li>Share ideas openly and contribute to a culture of collective learning</li> <li>Help mentor and develop newer traders as you grow</li> </ul> <h2>What We’re Looking For 👀</h2> <ul> <li>Strong numerical, analytical, and probabilistic reasoning</li> <li>Sound judgement and composure when making decisions under pressure</li> <li>Genuine risk awareness and the discipline to stick to a process</li> <li>A competitive, self-driven mindset and a hunger to keep improving</li> <li>Clear communication and the ability to work well within a team</li> <li>A real interest in markets and how they work</li> </ul> <h2>Bonus Points For ✅</h2> <ul> <li>Prior experience trading equities, futures, options, FX, or crypto</li> <li>Previous proprietary trading or market-making experience</li> <li>A background in maths, physics, engineering, computer science, or economics</li> <li>A demonstrated competitive edge — e.g. poker, competitive gaming, sport, or trading competitions</li> <li>Familiarity with derivatives, pricing, or market microstructure</li> </ul> <h2>A Bit About the Team 🤝</h2> <p>You’ll be joining a collaborative trading floor that works closely with our quant and technology teams.
