Additionally, Attain Sports is an owner of the United Soccer League (USL) Championship Club Loudoun United FC.  </div><div>Position Type: Unpaid internship for college credit </div> <div> </div> <div>Position Overview</div> <div> </div> <div>The Aberdeen IronBirds, a premier organization in MLB Draft League, are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our internship program. This opportunity will allow you to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of sports and entertainment while contributing to the overall success of our team both on and off the field. </div> <div> </div> <div>All IronBirds Interns will train in multiple areas of the organization, including but not limited to game-day operations, marketing and promotions, ticketing, customer service, community engagement, and event execution. Interns will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in several areas of the team’s business operations as part of their internship. </div> <div> </div> <div> <div>As an IronBirds Intern, you are required to: </div>   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Be a current undergraduate or graduate student seeking college credit for graduation requirements. This internship is unpaid and for college credit only. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Commit to work a minimum number of hours over the course of the internship period (May-September, start and end dates can be flexible based on academic schedules). </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Be available for home games, special events, and select office hours during the baseball season, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Be committed to the betterment of the Aberdeen IronBirds Baseball Club through your individual efforts and teamwork. </li> </ul>   </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>Department experiences may include the following: </div> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ticketing & Group Events <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Learning box office and ticketing procedures through hands-on training. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assisting with group event set-up and execution. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Supporting ticket sales initiatives and customer service efforts. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Marketing / Promotions / Community Engagement <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assisting with game-day entertainment including pre-game ceremonies, on-field promotions, mascot activities, and fan engagement.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Supporting community appearances, fan outreach programs, and Kids Club initiatives. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Helping coordinate special theme nights, promotional events, and in-stadium activations. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assisting with social media, digital content, and marketing campaigns. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Sponsorship & Fan Experience <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Supporting the activation of sponsorship elements during games and events. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serving as a liaison for sponsors and special guests on game days. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Helping collect data, track performance, and assist with partner recaps. </li> </ul> </li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion">Attain Sports is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
