About the role
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the ethics and compliance industry, including prospecting and lead generation, sales presentations, and closing deals through email, phone, online and in-person meetings.
- Identify good fit prospects and leads, initiate and facilitate initial discussions about their needs and solutions related to Ethisphere core offerings, and determine the optimal path to securing a mutually beneficial partnership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships as a trusted advisor with key decision-makers and influencers at client organizations.
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and growth goals, and partner with them to identify opportunities to meet and exceed their objectives.
- Collaborate with our internal teams to understand customer needs and develop sales approaches and tailored campaigns to drive awareness and gain access.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal team partners to achieve desired outcomes.
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up to date on trends and networking opportunities where appropriate.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by focusing on new logo acquisition and mid-contract upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system to progress deals and outline monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development, including reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a proven track record of performance
- 3+ years of Experience in the legal/compliance field is strongly preferred and Software as a Service (SAAS) or advisory services sales experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree
