We work with Fortune 50 companies that buy Super Bowl ads, fast-moving D2C companies, and everything in between.</span></p> <p class="p-rich_text_section"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">We’re known as a best-in-class marketing mix modeling (MMM) platform — but we’re not just another MMM vendor. The truth is that no tool can capture “the true ROI of YouTube,” and any vendor claiming otherwise is selling snake oil. We are up front with our customers that we don’t sell oracles or promise output “truth.”</span></p> <p class="p-rich_text_section"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">What we sell instead is the best engine in the category for producing&nbsp;<em>defensible</em> estimates from your data and your expert business knowledge — plus the platform and technical advisory relationship that turn those estimates into thoughtful plans, forecasts, and decisions that can stand up to vigorous scrutiny.</span></p> <h3><span style="color: rgb(226, 124, 102); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>About the Role</strong></span></h3> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">We’re looking for an extremely entrepreneurial Account Executive to manage the warm inbound leads we’re generating and strategically support our clients after they become Recast customers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">This ain’t your typical SaaS sales gig. We don’t believe anyone likes being <em>sold</em> anything these days — let alone their 15th software subscription — so we’re really looking for natural consultants and educators. We get excited seeing applicants who have technical degrees and zero formal selling experience. If you get a kick out of problem-solving, want to deeply understand the technical ins-and-outs of what makes Recast special, and love the rush that comes with winning in a high-integrity, no-BS way — our prospects will want to buy from you.</span></p> <h3><span style="color: rgb(226, 124, 102); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>How This Role Works<br></strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You will be busy. </strong>We believe a small number of top-5% reps working at full tilt is better for Recast and our customers than a giant team of middle-of-the-pack types.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You will be rewarded. </strong>Keeping the sales team small means more work — and a greater ability to keep your foot on the gas and over-perform.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You will be accountable. </strong>The buck stops with you. There’s almost nothing you wouldn’t do for one of your customers, and you take the promises you make seriously and personally.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You will do the right thing. </strong>When your incentives diverge from what’s good for Recast, making the right call is easy and automatic for you. Recommending that a prospect <em>shouldn’t</em> buy Recast comes just as easily as pitching.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(226, 124, 102); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Own the full sales cycle. </strong>Work prospects from qualification and research, through deep-dive demos, to contract signature.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Set customers up to win. </strong>Collaborate with our customer success and data science teams so new customers are smoothly onboarded and set up for long-term success.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Collaborate with other teams. </strong>You’ll work closely with Marketing, Marketing Data Science, Product, Customer Success, and Project Management to help them do their jobs better based on what you’re hearing from prospects.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(226, 124, 102); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You Might Be a Great Fit If…<br></strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You have startup experience.</strong> The pace, the rate of change, adjusting on the fly, and “if it’s broke just fix it” all come naturally to you because you’ve done them all before.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You’ve lived the buyer’s problem. </strong>You’ve worked in a marketing or data science role where you could have been a buyer or user of Recast — maybe as a marketing director or on a marketing analytics team — so you deeply understand the problems marketers face.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You thrive in ambiguity. </strong>You have experience in difficult startup environments (e.g. selling a product at a startup before it had PMF) and an incredible capacity for navigating complex situations.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You’re a consultant at heart. </strong>You have experience selling to marketing leaders and CMOs in the measurement space, and you consider yourself more of a consultant than a salesperson.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You want to build. </strong>You’re excited to work hand-in-hand with our GTM team — including our co-CEO — to build a high-functioning sales org.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>You communicate with ease. </strong>You’re skilled in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence and negotiate naturally.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(226, 124, 102);
