You will manage the full sales cycle — from cold prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close — while maintaining strong relationships with your growing book of clients. Senior leadership is available to support on high-value deals, but this role is built for someone who can operate independently and hit the ground running.</p> <h2>What You'll Do</h2> <ul> <li>Build and manage a pipeline of new business through cold prospecting, outbound calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn</li> <li>Run discovery calls independently to uncover prospect pain points, qualify opportunities, and position VerSprite's services</li> <li>Develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and service demonstrations to prospective clients</li> <li>Negotiate contracts and close new business, with senior support available on complex or high-value deals</li> <li>Manage and grow an existing book of accounts — driving retention, upsells, and long-term client satisfaction</li> <li>Forecast accurately and maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline in HubSpot CRM at all times</li> <li>Meet weekly activity KPIs (outreach volume, calls booked, pipeline generated) and quarterly revenue quota</li> <li>Coordinate with VerSprite's technical delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and client expectations are met post-sale</li> <li>Travel to meet clients in person and attend industry events — including conferences and networking functions that may fall outside standard business hours</li> <li>Stay current on the cybersecurity landscape, competitor offerings, and trends relevant to VerSprite's client base</li> </ul> <h2>What We're Looking For</h2> <ul> <li>2–4 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, preferably in technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or professional services</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field — required</li> <li>Proven track record of cold prospecting and outbound outreach — phone, email, and social</li> <li>Experience running discovery calls, building proposals, and negotiating contracts independently</li> <li>Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quota</li> <li>Proficiency in HubSpot CRM — pipeline management, sequencing, forecasting, and reporting</li> <li>Strong ability to manage a book of accounts and maintain client relationships post-close</li> <li>Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills</li> <li>Willingness to travel and represent VerSprite at client meetings and events — including outside of standard business hours when needed</li> </ul> <h2>Strongly Preferred</h2> <ul> <li>Background in cybersecurity, IT services, or technical B2B sales</li> <li>Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as penetration testing, threat modeling, or compliance frameworks (NIST, PCI-DSS, SOC 2)</li> <li>Experience selling into regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or enterprise technology</li> </ul> <h2>What We Offer</h2> <ul> <li>Base Salary $40k - $60k + uncapped commission = OTE above $100k first year</li> <li>Promotion path and career development opportunities</li> <li>Direct exposure to enterprise cybersecurity clients across high-value industries</li> <li>Remote / hybrid flexibility based in Georgia</li> <li>Modern sales tech stack including HubSpot and more</li> <li>Health plan, paid holidays, and 401K</li> </ul> <p><strong>Travel Required: </strong>This role requires a willingness to meet clients in person for meetings, presentations, and relationship-building.
