About the role
<p> </p>
<p data-start="43" data-end="444"><strong data-start="43" data-end="84">The Account Executive (AE)</strong> is responsible for driving revenue growth at Blip by acquiring new customers and expanding the company's presence in the mid-market segment. We are looking for a professional with solid experience in selling Business Messaging solutions and strong technical knowledge—ideally with an engineering background—to tackle complex digital transformation challenges.</p>

<p data-start="478" data-end="633"><strong data-start="478" data-end="501">Revenue Generation:</strong> Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed quarterly new customer acquisition targets within the Mid-Market segment.</p>

<p data-start="636" data-end="813"><strong data-start="636" data-end="663">Sales Cycle Management:</strong> Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a healthy and predictable pipeline.</p>

<p data-start="816" data-end="1049"><strong data-start="816" data-end="851">Strategic Consultative Selling:</strong> Act as a trusted advisor, understanding the client's business challenges and articulating how Blip’s solutions (Conversational Platform, WhatsApp Business API, etc.) address their specific needs.</p>

<p data-start="1052" data-end="1238"><strong data-start="1052" data-end="1079">Internal Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with the Product, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth post-sale transition and maximize customer satisfaction.</p>

<p data-start="1241" data-end="1416"><strong data-start="1241" data-end="1268">Reporting and Analysis:</strong> Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all sales activity in the CRM, using data to forecast outcomes and optimize the commercial strategy.</p>

<p data-start="1423" data-end="1470"><strong data-start="1427" data-end="1470">Required Experience Profile (Mandatory)</strong></p>
<ul data-start="1472" data-end="2230">
<li data-start="1472" data-end="1600">
<p data-start="1474" data-end="1600"><strong data-start="1474" data-end="1501">3–5 years of experience</strong> as an Account Executive or similar role, selling B2B technology solutions to Mid-Market clients.</p>
</li>

<p data-start="1603" data-end="1662"><strong data-start="1603" data-end="1660">Specific Experience in Business Messaging (Mandatory)</strong></p>
</li>
<li data-start="1663" data-end="1847">
<p data-start="1665" data-end="1847"><strong data-start="1665" data-end="1714">Direct Experience with Competitors/Ecosystem:</strong> Proven track record in selling Business Messaging platforms, CPaaS, Conversational SaaS, or enterprise-level chatbot/AI solutions.</p>
</li>

<p data-start="1850" data-end="2077"><strong data-start="1850" data-end="1874">Industry Background:</strong> Experience from key players in the sector or any other provider of customer interaction and Business Messaging solutions is highly valued.</p>
</li>

<p data-start="2080" data-end="2230"><strong data-start="2080" data-end="2112">Understanding of Mid-Market:</strong> Demonstrated understanding of mid-market organizational structures, purchasing processes, and scalability challenges.</p>
