This region includes some of Aerospike’s most strategic customers and partners, and we are seeking a sales leader who can both expand existing relationships and secure new logo business.</p> <p>This role requires a tenacious, intelligent salesperson who can think on their feet and engage in a highly consultative manner with Development and Operations/IT teams within large enterprises. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for territory development, prospect qualification, proposing and closing sales opportunities for Aerospike products and services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, biased toward action, with prior experience selling database or infrastructure solutions into enterprise accounts, ideally with vertical expertise.</p> <p>This is a direct sales role that requires regular face-to-face engagement with prospects and customers across the assigned North American territory.</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Source, develop, and close new business opportunities to consistently exceed quarterly sales targets</li> <li>Build a deep understanding of Aerospike’s products, value proposition, and competitive landscape</li> <li>Develop and execute effective territory planning and account management strategies</li> <li>Proactively engage target prospects and evangelize Aerospike solutions and customer success stories with Development leaders and technical teams</li> <li>Deliver compelling presentations using industry knowledge, market trends, and customer case studies to clearly articulate Aerospike’s value</li> <li>Qualify, document, and manage all opportunities within Salesforce (SFDC)</li> <li>Develop and execute sales strategies in a fast-paced, small-team environment</li> <li>Provide the highest level of customer service and act as a trusted advisor to customers</li> <li>Contribute to broader sales strategy and share best practices and success stories with peers</li> <li>Attend and support regional events, meetups, and customer-facing activities<br><br></li> </ul> <h2><strong>Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></h2> <p><strong>Required experience and skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5–7+ years of quota-carrying field sales experience, specifically in database or data management software, SaaS or both</li> <li>Located in the United States with strong preference for Austin, San Francisco/San Jose Bay Area, or New York</li> <li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Strong foundational understanding of database technologies and data platforms</li> <li>Strong ability to guide customers and prospects through sales processes using proven methods like MEDDPICC and Customer Centric Selling</li> <li>Proven ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with senior leadership and C-level executives across Engineering, IT, and the business</li> <li>Self-motivated, detail oriented, disciplined team player comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced startup environment</li> <li>Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue goals<br><br></li> </ul> <p>Aerospike is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
