For more information, visit <a class="Hyperlink SCXW259761513 BCX0" href="http://wpp.com/" target="_blank">WPP.com</a>.   </div>More about the role As an Account Executive at Axicom, you will work with leading technology businesses who are shaping how we live and work.  This role is perfect for an ambitious executive looking to work across both Consumer and Business technology clients and become a stellar media operator telling the stories of the most innovative technology companies out there; from B2B accountancy software to exoskeletons.   We are looking for someone who is looking for the next role in their PR career and to establish a career for themselves in technology. Someone who loves the thrill of securing coverage in today’s media landscape and wants to be part of a team.   We recognise what makes us great is the individuality of our teams and actively welcome applications from individuals and groups who are under-represented and celebrate difference; be it ethnicity, religion, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, or disability.  What you’ll do: <ul> <li>Media relations: Pitch regularly across B2B, national and lifestyle media to secure coverage for your clients, going out to meet media and updating your clients on media news and moves. You’ll want to become one of our go-to media gurus.  </li> <li>Writing: You’ll be writing press releases, media pitches, op-eds and social briefs for your clients. You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent and creative first drafts for your team leads to approve  </li> <li>Client communications: Speaking to clients on weekly calls, updating on sell-ins and projects you are working on and drafting emails/Teams updates to clients  </li> <li>Proactivity: Spot media opportunities for your clients, identify ways to creatively solve problems and contribute to proactive and energised accounts </li> <li>Account organisation: You’ll be responsible for ensuring that comprehensive notes are taken on client calls, weekly reports are delivered and accounts are managed in an organised and efficient way </li> <li>Media interest: Outside of specific pitches and sell ins you will be expected to foster an interest in the UK media landscape from following relevant journalists to your clients, reading media relevant to clients and actively sharing with your teams  </li> <li>Team player: Play an active and helpful part in client teams and broader Axicom initiatives, demonstrating effective time management and acting as an agency ambassador. </li> </ul> Experience that contributes to success <ul> <li>Established early career PR experience, having had an entry level role in PR or long term work experience  </li> <li>A strong interest in the technology landscape and media  </li> <li>Proven ability to execute and manage media sell ins, work on multiple clients and strong interpersonal skills  </li> <li>Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks at any one time and excellent time management skills </li> <li>Solid writing skills with experience in writing press materials   </li> <li>Energetic and passionate about PR & communications  </li> <li>High levels of Intelligence, Initiative, and Integrity, with an ambition to create award-winning work. </li> </ul> #LI-RE1<div class="content-conclusion"><h3>You belong at Axicom:</h3> Our vision is for Axicom, a Burson Group company, to be the leading ‘academy company’ for creative communications professionals and emerging leaders.
