We offer market related benefits, a great work environment and a promise that you won’t be bored as long as you are prepared for a challenge and want to build something great.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This position reports to the&nbsp;</span><strong>Lead Sales Specialist</strong></p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <p>● <strong>Driving the adoption and usage of Takealot’s self-service&nbsp;advertising platform for Sponsored Advertising; by&nbsp;Marketplace sellers</strong><br>● For self-service, analyse sales metrics and advertising data to identify trends and areas for improvement.<br>● Provide sellers with clear, data-driven insights and&nbsp;recommendations.<br>● Build media plans for top-tier spending sellers and identify opportunities for upselling additional services or&nbsp;advertising solutions.<br>● Coordinate the collection of assets needed for designers&nbsp;to create and execute campaigns.<br>● Manage the integration of all booked advertising&nbsp;campaigns into the marketing calendar, ensuring they&nbsp;are communicated to retail marketing managers and&nbsp;delivered effectively and on schedule.<br>● Supervise billing and payment processes to ensure&nbsp;accuracy and timeliness.<br>● Monitor campaign performance through tracking reports,&nbsp;share results with clients, and maintain a portfolio&nbsp;documenting campaign execution.<br>● Consistently meet and surpass advertising sales targets&nbsp;for the platform<br>● Assist in development of promotional material and&nbsp;content to encourage adoption of the platform by&nbsp;Marketplace Sellers<br>● Provide support to Marketplace Account Managers to&nbsp;encourage usage of the advertising platform by their Key&nbsp;Accounts and problem solve issues with these accounts<br>● Implement new seller acquisition strategies<br>● Collect feedback from sellers about the advertising&nbsp;platform and provide useful insights to further enhance&nbsp;the platform<br>● Collaborate with the CRM team to build case studies of&nbsp;the successful usage of the tools and develop material&nbsp;for sellers to drive adoption/retention/growth<br>● Contribute to the development and/or hosting of&nbsp;educational webinars to train users on performance&nbsp;metrics, insights, and how to drive greater results<br>● Escalate any operational platform issues to the technical&nbsp;teams to resolve</p> <p><strong>Attributes Required</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">:</span></p> <p>● Smart, hard-working, with demonstrable integrity<br>● A passion for online, digital marketing and advertising is&nbsp;essential<br>● Bias towards action and solution-oriented<br>● A self-starter and fast learner with an active thirst for&nbsp;knowledge<br>● Willing to take direction and able to work independently,&nbsp;demonstrating initiative<br>● Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail<br>● Ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines<br>● Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced&nbsp;environment</p> <p><strong>Qualification, Competencies &amp;
