We are a family-first organization and recognize the importance of a healthy and flexible work-life balance, a positive support system, and the power of diversity and inclusion.  Overview of the Role <ul> <li>The Account Manager - Albertsons NorCal position is responsible for creating and executing account specific sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets. You will play a critical role in building our team and building sales for these key customers. If you love selling and building relationships, this could be the role for you!  </li> <li>Success in this role looks like strong organizational skills and excellent communication. You will work with clients to build strong promotional plans, maintain shelf placement, and build connectivity with the customer. </li> <li>Remote but must be local to Pleasanton, CA or within a 50 mile radius to attend meetings at ACI NorCal</li> <li>Salary: $80,000 - $90,000, based on experience, qualifications, and skills</li> <li>Travel Requirements – Less than 10% to attend all major Industry shows client national sales meetings, & or any other events that would be warranted; all other travel is within assigned market (automobile) </li> <li>At C.A. we’re not looking for perfection, just people that want to commit to a us and grow their careers long-term. Fortune    <ul> <li>Create and execute account sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets </li> <li>Meet regularly with existing customers to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to address those needs, provide all maintenance, new item submissions, promotional support, etc.  </li> <li>Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers & clients  </li> <li>Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and clients and be available and responsive to their real-time needs.  </li> <li>Work effectively/professionally with company’s internal departments (Client Development Team, Marketing, Insights, Client Services, Business Support Specialists & Accounts Receivable), assuring elite management of our clients and customers businesses  </li> <li>Attend all required national trade shows, market specific sales meetings, client specific sales meetings, or any other necessary functions (established by your supervisor)  </li> <li>Guide Clients through the total distribution process; including pricing and promotional strategy, new item introductions, logistics and supply chain, deduction management with Albertsons</li> <li>Coordinate and prepare Clients for top-to-top meetings and category business reviews with Distributor partners.  </li> <li>Direct Clients and Company personnel through the planning, preparation, and execution of Distributors’ trade shows.  </li> <li>Assume responsibility in selling the mission, vision, and direction of the organization to current and potential clients. </li> </ul> What You Should Bring to the Table  <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of the consumer products industry (specifically food products)  </li> <li>Mid/strong level of knowledge of grocery retailers in assigned market - Albertsons (ACI) NorCal</li> <li>4-year bachelor’s degree, and/or similar industry experience  </li> <li>Proficient with all necessary computer-based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)  </li> </ul> You Will Stand Out if You Have   <ul> <li>Extensive relationships in the NorCal market </li> <li>Have prior knowledge analyzing syndicated data from SPINs, IRI or Nielsen  </li> <li>Prior food sales experience with Albertsons NorCal</li> <li>Prior agency/ broker experience</li> </ul> Perks  <ul> <li>PTO & Sick Days</li> <li>11 paid company holidays per year </li> <li>1 floating holiday</li> <li>2 paid volunteer days per year </li> <li>3 months fully paid parental leave (regardless of gender) </li> <li>Medical, dental, and vision </li> <li>Paid company life insurance </li> <li>401k with company match </li> <li>Bonus eligible</li> <li>Summer hours (half day Fridays from Memorial Day thru Labor Day) </li> <li>Work from home flexibility </li> </ul> Come As You Are  C.A. is committed to making our company more inclusive.
