<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>HG Insights is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager to join our Growth team. You will own a portfolio of SMB, commercial, and mid-market accounts (up to $1B in revenue), responsible for the full post-sale customer lifecycle — from onboarding and adoption through renewal and expansion. With recent acquisitions enabling us to deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end solution, you'll need a strong grasp of our customers' evolving business needs and a relentless focus on driving growth within your book. If you believe the best revenue is built on genuine customer value, this role was built for you.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Own the Customer Lifecycle:</strong> Manage a portfolio of growth segment accounts through onboarding, adoption, retention, renewal, and expansion — serving as the primary post-sale point of contact.</li> <li><strong>Drive Expansion:</strong> Proactively identify and pursue in-year upsell and expansion opportunities through account planning, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of each customer's goals.</li> <li><strong>Partner on Value:</strong> Work closely with customer stakeholders to uncover new use cases, align on outcomes, and ensure they're realizing measurable value from HG — building the case for renewal and growth.</li> <li><strong>Mitigate Risk:</strong> Monitor account health and engagement signals to identify at-risk accounts early and execute retention strategies before churn becomes a threat.</li> <li><strong>Use Data and AI:</strong> Leverage AI and modern customer success tools to analyze account health, prioritize outreach, and continuously sharpen your expansion and retention strategy.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate Cross-Functionally:</strong> Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales to develop account plans, escalate blockers, and bring customer feedback into the business.</li> <li><strong>Act as a Customer Advocate:</strong> Represent the customer's voice internally, helping refine HG's offerings and processes based on real-world feedback.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Proven Account Management Experience (3-5yrs):</strong> A track record of managing and growing customer relationships in SMB, commercial, or mid-market segments (up to $1B), with demonstrated success on both renewal and expansion.</li> <li><strong>Quota Achievement:</strong> Consistent delivery against renewal and expansion targets, with examples of driving meaningful account growth.</li> <li><strong>Consultative Approach:</strong> Strong critical thinking and communication skills that allow you to become a trusted advisor — not just a vendor contact.</li> <li><strong>Commercial Acumen:</strong> Comfortable navigating renewals, pricing conversations, and contract discussions while preserving strong customer relationships.</li> <li><strong>Tech-Forward Mindset (Required):</strong> Demonstrated ability to quickly adopt and leverage AI tools to enhance client engagement, analyze trends, and drive expansion and retention strategy.</li> <li><strong>Adaptable and Self-Directed:</strong> Resourceful and organized, able to thrive and prioritize without a rigid playbook.</li> <li>Industry experience in data, SaaS, or B2B technology is a strong plus.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why HG Insights</strong></p> <p>HG Insights is the global leader in technology intelligence, helping the world’s top B2B companies find, win, and grow their best customers.
