To expand our footprint in the Dutch Life Sciences market, we’re looking for a (Sr) Account Manager with a strong network and proven commercial success in Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Devices. 🏢 What you’ll be doing

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities with new customers

  • Build new and expand existing client relationships across multiple functions with key decision makers at C-suite and operational level

  • Together with HR you will be responsible to manage the needs of customers and consultants

  • Support clients through their journey from idea to patient, identify their needs, respond to inquiries and propose creative solutions in a timely manner

  • Manage the full sales process for opportunities from lead identification to contracting with accurate follow-up in the CRM system

  • Evaluate complex questions, divide them into manageable parts and be able to take the customer through our custom made solution

  • Expand your network in the life sciences sector by playing an active role in different networking associations

  • In addition to an external network, you also build your internal network within the organization with QbD consultants, sales colleagues, HR, marketing… We do sales together, with you in the lead!

💪 What you bring

  • BSc or MSc degree in a scientific or commercial field, which you combine with at least 5 years of sales experience, commercial flair and common sense

  • Proven track record developing mid-level and senior customers in Life Sciences

  • The medical device/pharma/biotech world is your passion and you’re able to talk on a technical level.

  • You have the ability to engage clients across different activities that are crucial for the customer to bring the product to the market: from clinical, regulatory, quality systems & control, validation, to communication

  • You are self-confident; not only do you know how to convey the message smoothly, but above all you listen actively to customers, partners and colleagues, showing patience and keeping an eye on long-term solutions and partnership

  • You have the ability to influence others both internally and externally

  • You feel comfortable working with different tools and systems. An accurate follow-up in the CRM system is key for you!

  • You communicate and report clearly and bring up any concerns in due time.
