About the role
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, supporting day-to-day communication and building strong, trusted relationships
- Lead and participate in project intake calls, gathering requirements and aligning internal teams on scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Manage packaging development projects from concept through production, ensuring timelines, quality, and client expectations are met
- Develop a strong understanding of the technical and engineering aspects of packaging, including how components are designed and manufactured
- Partner closely with internal teams (design, engineering, production) to bring packaging concepts to life
- Manage relationships with global vendors, including communication, timelines, and troubleshooting production challenges
- Send quotes and complex RFQ’s; Review and confirm PO’s
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, acting as a brand ambassador
- Travel to Asia as needed to support vendor relationships, production oversight, and quality control
- Support and participate in formal client presentations, with the opportunity to take on a more visible role over time
- Progress into managing your own accounts with full ownership and client responsibility
- Experience in account management, project management, or client services, ideally within beauty, packaging, or a related industry
- Strong interest in (or experience with) packaging development and engineering
- Ability to understand and communicate both creative and technical concepts
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident in client-facing settings
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Relentless problem solver — resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Ambitious and growth-minded — eager to take on more responsibility and grow into an Account Manager role
- Curious and hands-on — interested in learning the technical side of how packaging is made
