Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting, finance operations, and compliance for a growing startup. This role requires a blend of execution and ownership—someone who can both do the groundwork and build scalable processes.
Finance & Accounts Manager (3–5 years, CA Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Management
Maintain and oversee books of accounts and ledgers
Manage invoice processing, entries, and reconciliations
Drive monthly and annual financial closures
Prepare MIS, financial reports, and analysis
2. Finance Operations & Execution
Handle day-to-day finance operations including:
Payment processing and tracking
Purchase order (PO) management
Vendor management and reconciliations
Ensure smooth coordination across internal teams and external vendors
3. Cash Flow, Treasury & Expense Management
Manage cash flow planning and working capital
Track expenses, reimbursements, and petty cash
Oversee collections and payable cycles
Support banking operations and relationships
4. Financial Planning & Control
Support budgeting and forecasting exercises
Conduct variance analysis and cost tracking
Build and improve financial controls and processes
5. Compliance & Regulatory
Ensure compliance with:
GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
Companies Act / LLP regulations (as applicable)
Assist/manage:
Audit processes (internal & statutory)
GST/TDS filings and documentation
Support FEMA compliance (if applicable)
6. Startup Setup & Process Building
Assist in setting up finance processes and systems
Work closely with founders on financial planning and decision-making
Drive automation and efficiency in finance workflows
Ideal Profile
CA / M.com/B.Com with relevant experience
3–5 years of experience in accounting/finance roles (startup experience preferred)
Strong understanding of:
Accounting principles
GST, TDS, and basic compliance
Hands-on with Excel and accounting tools
Ability to work independently in a high-ownership environment
