Sr Accountant

<p>At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable. </p> <p>As <strong>Sr Accountant&nbsp;(m/f/d)</strong> you will be responsible for supporting the general ledger accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and assisting with various accounting tasks.</p> <h3><strong data-renderer-mark="true">About the Role</strong>&nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li>Assist with the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.</li> <li>Support month-end and year-end close processes.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with corporate policy and accounting processes.</li> <li>Analyze financial data and assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and legal, to ensure compliance and accuracy.</li> <li>Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.</li> <li>Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.</li> <li>Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.</li> </ul> <h3><strong data-renderer-mark="true">About You</strong>&nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting&nbsp; roles.</li> <li>Strong background in R2R/RTR .Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and financial reporting standards.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li> <li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> </ul> <p>We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
