<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Position Summary&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Accountant is an internal finance role supporting the day-to-day financial operations across Focus Partners Australia and Escala.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Working closely with the Senior Accountants, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate and timely financial processing, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting month-end activities across both businesses.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The role provides hands-on support across accounts payable, receivable, and transactional finance, while also contributing to a well-organised and efficient Finance function.</span></p> <p><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Accounts Payable &amp; Expenses</span></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Enter supplier invoices and bills into Xero accurately and in a timely manner</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare and process weekly accounts payable payment runs</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on discrepancies</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Review employee expense claims, ensuring compliance and completeness</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Follow up with employees for missing receipts or documentation</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare monthly expense reporting</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Accounts Receivable</span></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support debtor management and collections (primarily accounting invoices)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Monitor aged receivables and follow up with internal teams or clients as required</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with allocation of receipts and reconciliation of AR balance.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Banking &amp; Transactions</span></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform daily saving and coding of bank transactions for Commpay processing</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain accurate and up-to-date banking records</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Complete bank reconciliations in Xero</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare weekly Escala bank transaction reports</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Internal Billing &amp; Intercompany Transactions</span></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare and process internal invoicing (e.g. service fees, salary on-charges, training costs)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support intercompany transactions across Focus Partners Australia and Escala</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure accuracy and consistency in internal cost allocations</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Month-End &amp;
