Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will oversee critical accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic insights to support the organization’s financial goals. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional seeking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.


 

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

General Ledger Management: Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP and all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audit preparation.

Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

Team Leadership: Mentor junior accounting staff, review their work, and provide guidance to enhance their professional growth.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the AP/AR process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving accounting processes and systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support financial decision-making and provide insights into business performance.


 

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of GAAP, financial principles, and regulatory compliance.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
