About the role
Job Purpose:
To ensure accurate financial records, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and timely preparation of financial reports to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and filed.
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
- Track receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Fund management
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA / ACCA certification (or in progress) is preferred.
- 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Tally or ERP system
