About the role


About the Role  


You will  

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
    • Prepare and analyze various financial reports and present findings to senior management including monthly trend and flux analysis.
  • General Ledger Management:
    • Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate transaction recording including cash, prepaids, payments and accruals.
    • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Owning A/P and A/R processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
    • Reconcile customer and vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
    • Assist in developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency in A/P and A/R processes.
  • Compliance and Audit:
    • Assist in coordinating internal and external audits.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
    • Prepare documentation and schedules for audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor actual performance against budget and report variances.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.


You have  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle); Netsuite ZoneBilling experience is a plus. Company uses NetSuite and Ramp.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
    • Knowledge and experience using AI tools is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Effective and proactive communication and interpersonal skills.
