Through a comprehensive engagement and loyalty platform, we empower millions of members to live healthier, more connected lives. Backed by deep partnerships across healthcare and supported by a culture of innovation, cross‑functional collaboration, and relentless curiosity, One Pass is scaling rapidly and shaping the future how people lead healthier, fuller lives.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support and scale our accounting and financial operations at One Pass. This role is primarily focused on our monthly financial close process, our customer billing and accounts receivable workflow, as well as sales & use tax, corporate tax, and related remittances and filings.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, startup environment—you’ll be expected to execute with a high degree of ownership, operate with sound judgment, and partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and compliance as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

  • Manage and oversee customer billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with contracts and revenue recognition

  • Engage with the sales and account teams to establish One Pass as a vendor in customer billing portals and electronic invoice submission systems

  • Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to ensure timely cash collections

  • Maintain and manage balance sheet accounts, including movement between accounts and ensuring accuracy

  • Support and execute key components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process

  • Own sales & use tax and corporate tax processes, including filings, remittances, and compliance

  • Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to support audits and reporting

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and drive efficiency

  • Support system implementations and enhancements, with a focus on optimizing accounting workflows

  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve accuracy, processes, and reporting

About You

You’re a technically strong accountant with deep experience in the financial close process for a rapidly growing small company. You have a strong command of how data flows through our general ledger and can independently manage journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations while maintaining audit-ready documentation. You’re highly proficient in Excel and use it regularly to validate data, reconcile discrepancies, and support tax filings.

You operate with a high degree of ownership and judgment, proactively identifying gaps, improving processes, and making practical recommendations—especially as systems and workflows evolve. You’re collaborative and responsive, able to partner effectively with internal teams and external advisors while maintaining a high bar for accuracy and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

  • Experience managing customer billing and revenue-related processes

  • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

  • Proven experience managing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

  • Strong experience with sales & use tax, corporate tax, and related filings/remittances

  • Advanced Excel skills (expert level)

  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment with evolving processes

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute independently with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or progress toward CPA

  • Experience supporting system implementations or accounting process optimization

  • Experience in healthcare, benefits, or regulated industries

  • Background in public accounting
