Senior Accountant

<p data-start="21" data-end="458">The Finance area is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the company’s financial information and accounting operations across the organization. As we build a financial institution from the ground up, this role plays a critical part in maintaining strong financial governance, supporting regulatory compliance, enabling strategic quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.</li> <li data-start="961" data-end="1098">Preparing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate financial reports, supporting management decision-making and business planning activities.</li> <li data-start="1100" data-end="1236">Ensuring proper accounting treatment and documentation for financial transactions, operational activities, and new business initiatives.</li> <li data-start="1238" data-end="1404">Collaborating closely with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, Product, and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and operational alignment.</li> <li data-start="1406" data-end="1574">Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls, policies, and reporting frameworks to strengthen governance and scalability.</li> <li data-start="1576" data-end="1703">Identifying accounting, reporting, and operational inefficiencies while driving automation and process improvement initiatives.</li> <li data-start="1705" data-end="1872">Managing accounting records, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial documentation with high standards of organization, traceability, and audit readiness.</li> <li data-start="1874" data-end="2044">Operating effectively in highly dynamic environments with evolving processes, systems, and regulatory expectations while helping formalize scalable accounting structures.</li> <li data-start="2046" data-end="2216">Supporting audits, Audit, or Controllership roles within financial institutions, fintechs, startups, consulting firms, or highly regulated industries.</li> <li data-start="2584" data-end="2730">Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, reconciliations, closing processes, and financial statement preparation.</li> <li data-start="2732" data-end="2869">Experience managing complex accounting operations, financial analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and reporting activities.</li> <li data-start="2871" data-end="3031">Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify accounting risks, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.</li> <li data-start="3033" data-end="3184">Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems, accounting platforms, financial systems, SQL, or similar technologies are highly valued.</li> <li data-start="3186" data-end="3287">Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, tax processes, and external reporting requirements.</li> <li data-start="3289" data-end="3436">Proven ability to thrive in environments where processes are built from scratch, not inherited, and where structure evolves alongside rapid growth.</li> <li data-start="3438" data-end="3602">Highly proactive and hands-on, with the autonomy to lead accounting initiatives and deliver results effectively in fast-paced environments with limited supervision.</li> <li data-start="3604" data-end="3733">Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate
