<p><span data-contrast="auto">Senra Systems is hiring a Senior Accountant to help build and own the company's core accounting function during a period of rapid growth and operational scale-up.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance, you will be a key early accounting hire — taking ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, supporting the close process, and helping establish scalable processes and controls as the company grows. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who is eager to grow into a broader leadership position over time.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Own Core Accounting Operations</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain the general ledger and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Support AP, AR, payroll accounting, and expense workflows</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Support accurate revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Build Scalable Processes</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Help design and document accounting processes that support growth</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Support ERP and financial system implementation and optimization</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Partner with the software team to automate data pipelines that feed accurate, timely financial reporting</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Assist in building out cost and inventory accounting practices</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Support standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliations</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Partner with operations to track and report on production costs and margins</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Controls & Financial Discipline</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Help establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare audit-ready work papers and documentation</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and accounting partners</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>

<p><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-props="{}"><strong>What you'll bring to the team:</strong> </span></span></p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Required</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">4+ years of accounting experience, ideally including 2–3 years in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm) and 1–2 years in an industry or startup environment</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Solid U.S. GAAP knowledge and attention to detail</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Hands-on experience with the close process and financial statement preparation</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Comfort working in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience with ERP systems or accounting software migrations</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Interest in cost accounting and operational finance</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Startup or high-growth company experience</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>

<p><strong>Compensation: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. </li>
<li>Salary Range:<strong> </strong>$110,000-$140,000 </li>
<li>This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA. </li>
