We pride ourselves on our collaborative work environment and culture, which embraces our mission of providing financial and non-financial benefits back to the members of the Seneca Nation.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Great Hill</strong> is seeking a <strong>Staff Accountant </strong>to support our federal client.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Three (3)+ years of experience in accounting, with at least one (1) year in federal or DoW government accounting</li> <li>Experience performing account reconciliations across budgetary and proprietary accounts</li> <li>Experience preparing and processing journal entries in a federal financial accounting system</li> <li>Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal accounting standards</li> <li>Experience supporting financial statement preparation, including compilation of supporting documentation</li> <li>Experience gathering and packaging documentation for audit samples or data calls</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite</li> <li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Desired Skills:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with GFEBS or other DoW enterprise financial systems</li> <li>Experience supporting PBC package preparation for external auditors</li> <li>Progress toward CPA, CDFM, or CGFM certification</li> <li>Experience with automated reconciliation tools or data analytics (e.g., Google Colab, Apps Script)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Salary at Seneca is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
