<p><strong>Great Hill</strong> is seeking a <strong>Senior Accountant </strong>to support our federal customer. </p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Seven (7)+ years of experience in accounting, with at least three (3) years in federal or DoW government accounting</li>
<li>Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and federal accounting standards (FASAB)</li>
<li>Experience with general ledger, subsidiary ledger, and budgetary/proprietary account reconciliation</li>
<li>Experience preparing adjusting journal entries, including corrections to accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions</li>
<li>Working knowledge of OMB Circular A-136 financial reporting requirements</li>
<li>Experience supporting financial data calls to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., DFAS, OSD, OMB)</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a minimum of 24 semester hours in Accounting</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>Desired Skills:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>CPA licensure or CDFM/CGFM certification</li>
<li>Experience with GFEBS financial accounting system, including journal entry processing</li>
<li>Experience calculating PP&E depreciation and maintaining asset records</li>
<li>Experience supporting indirect cost models and reimbursement analysis (G-Invoicing, IPAC)</li>
<li>Experience supporting financial audit sample preparation and documentation</li>
</ul>
