You’ll gain momentum.</span></p> <p><strong>Your role</strong></p> <p>We're seeking an Accountant for our Finance team. You will be crucial in contributing to smooth month-end closing by assisting the team and preparing accurate, timely reports.&nbsp;</p> <p>Drawing on your proficiency in supporting the company's financial engine, you will be responsible for helping implement and maintain controls to ensure accurate information within the system to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide.&nbsp;</p> <p>With a proven track record of excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word &amp; Excel), and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.</p> <p>You are a driven, determined, curious team player, knowing that collective strength means we all win. You will be driven and comfortable with responding quickly with urgency, with the ability to change course without losing momentum and energy, resulting in great success.</p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for assisting the team during month-end closing</li> <li>Preparing reports as required in a timely and accurate manner</li> <li>Assisting the team with ad-hoc requirements such as audits</li> <li>Assisting in handling the financial operations of the company</li> <li>Assisting with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures</li> <li>Ensuring accuracy of data within the system</li> <li>Assisting the finance team with daily tasks</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your expertise:</strong></p> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>At a minimum, internship or co-op training experience in accounting tasks such as month-end closing, financial reporting, and supporting daily operations.</li> <li>Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting tasks.</li> <li>Familiarity with accounting software like Oracle is preferred but not required.</li> <li>Degree in Accounting or Finance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.</li> <li>Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Attributes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Detail-oriented and precise, with strong organizational skills.</li> <li>Proactive and dependable, committed to delivering timely outputs.</li> <li>Collaborative and adaptable, excelling in team-oriented environments.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
