Let's grow together!</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>The ideal Senior Accountant candidate is a resourceful problem solver who will take ownership of critical accounting tasks and will be a key player in ensuring the on-chain and off-chain accounting and reporting function will scale and support the company’s rapid growth. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key to the success of the Senior Accountant.</p> <p>This is a work from home position with location preference in New York City, Austin, and Boston. Some travel to in-person company events is required, approximately 2-3 weeks out of the year. In-person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary).</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform day to day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, FA, GL and other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with the monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial analysis</li> <li>Utilize on-chain accounting tools for the monthly close and to improve data accuracy</li> <li>Assist in maintaining regular contact and building solid working relationships with various groups to ensure a high level of customer service and work product</li> <li>Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Solid understanding of GAAP</li> <li>Experience with standard software solutions preferred, for example: QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Campfire, Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Rillet, Carta</li> <li>Experience with crypto accounting software (e.g. Bitwave, Integral) and reconciliation of on-chain transactions</li> <li>Experience with Excel and ability to manipulate larger data sets</li> <li>Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills</li> <li>Fast learner with high degree of professional curiosity and desire to learn</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities</li> <li>Enjoy a collaborative, team-oriented environment</li> <li>Experience implementing workflow automation or AI-enabled tools preferred. Familiarity with generative AI tools and automation platforms strongly preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance</li> <li>4+ years of progressive accounting experience; some multi-client experience preferred</li> <li>1+ year of recent experience at a Web3 company or crypto native.
