Our growing and well-respected Certified Public Accounting firm is currently seeking a CPA with 3 to 6 years of experience for our office located in Port Orchard, Washington.  If you are passionate about accounting, and you are seeking a boost in both your professional and personal growth, consider joining the Southard Beckham Certified Public Accounting team.

Employment Criteria

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual income tax returns
• Prepare and review business income tax returns
• Prepare and review payroll and sales tax returns
• Analyze client accounting and assist with preparation of adjusting entries for their internal financial statements
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Skills/Qualifications:           

• High levels of intelligence, integrity, honesty, motivation and aptitude for the profession
• Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop
• Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects
• Ability to work extended hours during tax season and quarter end months
• Recognize when assistance is needed and ask for help promptly
• Excellent communication and grammar skills are a must

$32 - $37 per hour depending on Experience
