In fact, wireless technology touches every aspect of our daily lives.&nbsp;</p> <p>Building Our Wireless World, Together®.</p></div><p>TESSCO is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in <strong>Hunt Valley, MD</strong> responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role combines hands-on accounting management with FP&amp;A responsibilities to support strategic planning, improve financial visibility, and drive informed business decisions across the organization. This role will sit in our corporate headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.</p> <p>If you are looking for variety, opportunities to grow, and a great team to work with - we'd like to hear from you!</p> <p><strong>This is a hybrid role (3 days a week in office) in Hunt Valley, MD - Must be located within commuting distance.</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop team members</li> <li>Perform and review reconciliations, perform system processes, and analytical reviews of account balances</li> <li>Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of most balance sheet and income statement accounts with focus on inventory, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accrued expenses</li> <li>Will be responsible for the preparation of certain accounting areas, such as excess inventory and income taxes (including estimated tax payments and filing management)</li> <li>Support accounting transactions that arise in planning and executing new business opportunities and prepare technical accounting memos as needed</li> <li>Assist in preparation of monthly and ad hoc reporting to private equity owners</li> <li>Research and resolve accounting issues and process breakdowns</li> <li>Work closely with external auditors on both financial and bank audits</li> <li>Manage vendor and customer rebate process</li> <li>Own the sales commission monthly reporting and tracking process</li> <li>Assist in preparing various reports as needed by various business stakeholders</li> <li>Special projects and analysis as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance field &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>5+ years of corporate or public accounting experience.</li> <li>Leadership experience preferred with a track record of developing talent</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required</li> <li>Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills strongly preferred</li> <li>Willingness to adopt and implement AI into business processes</li> <li>Strong PC and Systems experience, NetSuite experience a big plus</li> <li>Looking for someone who is detail oriented with an analytical mindset</li> <li>Must strive to achieve continuous improvements</li> <li>Ability to be flexible / handle and embrace change</li> <li>Bring high energy and positive attitude to the team</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000</strong></p> <p><strong>Why Join Our Team?</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><strong>Hybrid work schedule (3 days a week in office, 2 days working from home)&nbsp;</strong></li> <li>401K with a company match to help you invest in your future</li> <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription plans to keep you at your best</li> <li>Hone your skills or learn new ones with tuition subsidy</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</em></p> <p><em>This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div>
