The Role
We are now looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Accounting Officer to join our team supporting the smooth and accurate operation of our financial processes.
This is a part-time position (20–25 hours per week), Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 14:00, with flexibility in working hours based on business needs and mutual agreement.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing accounting processes across online and retail operations
- Preparing financial statements and results for betting stores
- Coordinating cash collections and performing reconciliations
- Recording and verifying daily cash counts from agents and owned stores
- Liaising with agents to resolve any financial queries and payments
- Preparing monthly profit & loss reports for agents
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and updating accounting systems
- Supporting financial reporting and external audit processes
Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, including hands-on experience in managing client accounts, cash handling, reconciliations, and financial transactions
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Excel skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
