Our people make it real.</strong></p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="820">If you’re a challenger in spirit and a champion in action — join us.</p></div><h2><strong>Why this role exists</strong></h2> <p>This role exists to transform and scale our accounting function as the business continues to grow in complexity, geography, and operational maturity.</p> <p>You'll help us build a more predictable, efficient, and scalable finance organization by standardizing accounting processes, strengthening controls, and developing a high-performing accounting team across both statutory and managerial accounting.</p> <h2><strong>What you'll drive</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Strategy &amp; outcomes</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Drive the transformation and standardization of accounting processes across key finance areas.</li> <li>Build scalable operating models that support business growth and increasing complexity.</li> <li>Define and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and governance standards.</li> <li>Improve efficiency, consistency, and transparency across accounting operations.</li> <li>Contribute to the long-term evolution of the finance function.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Process excellence &amp; controls</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design and optimize end-to-end accounting processes across revenue, accounts receivable, payroll, accounts payable, tax, and month-end close.</li> <li>Identify process inefficiencies, operational risks, and control gaps.</li> <li>Implement practical improvements that strengthen accuracy, compliance, and scalability.</li> <li>Support automation initiatives and help reduce manual effort across the accounting function.</li> <li>Ensure audit readiness through well-documented and controlled processes.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Delivery &amp; execution</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Establish clear ownership, responsibilities, and workflows across the accounting team.</li> <li>Monitor process effectiveness and continuously improve operational performance.</li> <li>Support timely and accurate financial reporting and close activities.</li> <li>Drive the adoption of documentation, SOPs, and best practices.</li> <li>Partner with finance leadership to prioritize and execute key improvement initiatives.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Stakeholder partnership</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Payroll, Legal, and other business teams to ensure process alignment.</li> <li>Act as a trusted advisor on accounting process design and governance matters.</li> <li>Translate complex accounting concepts into clear and actionable guidance.</li> <li>Facilitate alignment across teams during process changes and transformation projects.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Team leadership &amp; development</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team covering statutory and managerial accounting.</li> <li>Build team capabilities through coaching, training programs, and knowledge sharing.</li> <li>Create onboarding materials and learning frameworks that support consistent execution.</li> <li>Foster accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.</li> <li>Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for accounting-related topics.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What makes you a GR8 fit</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Must-have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in accounting, finance transformation, audit, or a related field.&nbsp;</li> <li>3+ years of people management experience.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong knowledge of IFRS and core accounting processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Solid understanding of both statutory and management accounting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven experience designing, optimizing, and documenting business processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience developing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and align stakeholders.&nbsp;</li> <li>Upper-Intermediate English or higher.&nbsp;</li> <li>Professional proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Nice-to-have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience in consulting or a Big 4 environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Background working in complex international or multi-entity organizations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience leading finance transformation or automation initiatives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Exposure to process excellence methodologies and operational improvement frameworks.&nbsp;</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h2 data-renderer-start-pos="906"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Why you’ll love working here:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p data-renderer-start-pos="958"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Benefits Cafeteria</strong> — annual budget you allocate to:</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1011">Sports • Medical • Mental health • Home office • Languages.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1072"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Work-life &amp;
