Accounts Payable Assistant, Soho Home - 24 hours per week

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>The Role…</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">An exciting part time opportunity has arisen within the Retail division of the Soho House Group with the business that includes our Home and Beauty Brands – ‘Soho Home’ and ‘Cowshed’. Reporting to the Retail Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be owning the logistics Accounts Payable function.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities..</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Invoice processing focussing on logistics (warehousing, freight, duty, shipping, etc.)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist in preparing weekly payment runs for logistics suppliers</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Regular statement reconciliations of logistics suppliers</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Investigating and resolution of logistics supplier queries</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Within the logistics supplier ledgers, resolving debit balances, requesting refunds where appropriate or obtaining invoices</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Liaising with the Operations and Logistics team for approval of invoices</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Managing logistics suppliers in the accounts payable inbox</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintaining good supplier relationships</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Regular ledger reviews with the finance team</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assisting with requests from auditors or third-party advisors</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Any other Adhoc duties</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What We Are Looking For…</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Someone who is “solution driven” as opposed to “problem focusing”</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong and robust character, confident in challenging at all levels</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in posting expenses essential, experience in logistics specific invoicing is desirable</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Advanced Excel skills and ideally experience with Business Central</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong analytical skills and ability to work under own initiative and collaborate across departments</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to manage and prioritise tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Benefits…</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Soho House offers competitive compensation packages that feature global benefits and perks.
