Join us.</p> <h2>A Day in the Life:</h2> <p>In the position of Accounting Manager you will oversee the accounting and compliance functions of the Company’s&nbsp;subsidiaries around the world. Responsible for the audit process in assigned countries due to the region's unique&nbsp;regulatory and cultural nuances. The intricate tax laws and financial reporting requirements in assigned countries&nbsp;necessitate a dedicated professional to oversee the audit activities and ensure compliance and accuracy.</p> <h2>The Impact You'll Make:</h2> <ul> <li>Guide, teach, and mentor the accounts payable staff. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and conducting staff performance reviews. Effectively and positively communicate with colleagues and vendors.</li> <li>Ensure vendors are paid in accordance with company policy; enforce and adhere to internal controls for the AP function. Maintain vendor records.</li> <li>Implement and improve on accounting processes and systems.</li> <li>Analyze key project indicators numbers and ensure productivity and efficiency of processes.</li> <li>Prepare and manage payment transactions globally (ACH, checks, and international/domestic wires). Prepare journal entries, reports and analysis as requested by senior management.</li> <li>Participate in the recurring month-end processes, including the management of AP cut-offs.</li> <li>Prepare 1099-Miscellaneous tax forms and tax levy. Assist with legal requests as needed.</li> <li>Serve as a resource to staff, department managers and others for interpreting policies, procedures and regulations relating to AP</li> </ul> <h2>Who You Are:</h2> <ul> <li>Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance, or related field of study</li> <li>Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in combination of Big 4 and with a publicly traded organization</li> <li>Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in international experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Computer Skills Desired: Strong computer and Excel skills are required</li> <li>Preferred Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred</li> <li>Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent in English preferred</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation.
