<p><strong>Job Title: Activity Therapist</strong></p> <p><strong>Reports To: Clinical Director</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Northpoint Washington (Adult inpatient in Edmonds, WA)</strong></p> <p><strong>Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 10am-6:30pm AND Friday-Saturday 12pm-8:30pm</strong></p> <p><strong>Compensation: $26.50-32/hour</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><span data-teams="true"><strong>Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC</strong> began 2009 as Ashwood Outpatient and officially launched the Northpoint platform in 2015. Our mission is simple: <strong>saving lives and restoring relationships </strong>by helping people get their lives back, and treating every individual with empathy and respect.</span></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY: </strong>As a member of the Northpoint team, the Activity Therapist is responsible for providing activity-based group sessions, risk assessments, case management services, orientation, and discharge planning to clients. This person will strive to ensure activities are appropriate to the needs and interest of the clients, and are directed toward restoring and maintaining optimal levels of client satisfaction and functioning. The Activity Therapist will actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and will provide client care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to clients under the direction of the clinical leadership. <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Northpoint Recovery also supports adult mental health primary conditions in the outpatient setting in select markets.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Facilitate project-based group activities, such as art, music, recreation, mindfulness, skill building, and goal setting</li> <li>Case staffing and review of case record maintenance</li> <li>Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care</li> <li>Professional and timely documentation, aligned to policies and procedures, to assure comprehensive and quality client care</li> <li>Consultation with the multi-disciplinary treatment team and other clinical professionals</li> <li>Participate in treatment and discharge planning</li> <li>Case management services; coordinate with community based providers and referral sources to ensure optimal levels of care and treatment outcomes, post discharge</li> <li>Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and maintain effective working relationships with employees and peers</li> <li>Risk assessment and de-escalation skills</li> <li>Administrative support</li> <li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures</li> <li>Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of care</li> <li>Other clinically appropriate services and special projects as assigned</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience required</li> <li>1+ year of experience in relevant field</li> <li>Ability to work with a diverse client population and possess strong interpersonal skills and knowledge required for treating clients assigned</li> <li>Must hold strong personal boundaries and able to build rapport with clients</li> <li>Must understand and adhere to the ethical standards of the respective licensure governing board as applicable</li> <li>Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age</li> <li>Must maintain current and nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certification</li> <li>Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent critical thinking skills</li> <li>Excellent organizational abilities</li> <li>Excellent communication skills;
