About the role
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve, bundle, stage, and re‑shelve Government files
- Maintain organized file systems and link incoming correspondence to existing records
- Support naturalization ceremonies, including certificate printing, applicant assistance, and green card collection
- Assist with processing applications, forms, and related casework
- Scan large multi‑page documents for digital records
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligibility for Public Trust/Suitability Clearance
- Ability to lift 45+ lbs. and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, reaching)
- Experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support
- Experience in Government or high‑volume documentation environments preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Proficient in reading and understanding English
