About the role
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve and bundle Government requested files for personnel.
- Reshelve files and maintain accurate file organization.
- Connect incoming correspondence to existing shelved files.
- Support the preparation and execution of naturalization ceremonies, including printing and distributing certificates.
- Assist during ceremonies by escorting applicants and collecting and logging identification documents.
- Provide support for forms and application processing related to adjudication.
- Scan large, multi page documents.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust / Suitability Clearance through the Government.
- Ability to lift and carry 45 lbs. or more.
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and reach in a physical work environment
- Strong proficiency in reading and understanding English.
- Ability to work independently with consistent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with document handling, organization, and scanning.
- Capacity to navigate physical file storage environments efficiently
- Prior experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support roles
- Experience supporting Government operations or high volume documentation environments
