<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <p>We are looking for an outstanding <strong>Contract Administrator III</strong> located in Los Angeles to work with our client, Los Angeles World Airports who has a proven contract administration experience with complex, multi -phase, multi -million-dollar construction and/or renovation projects. The <strong>Contract Administrator III </strong>will perform a broad range of contract administrate duties, including procurements, billings, insurance, badging, and compliance.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a full-time position with on-site work required Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Salary offered ranges up to $125,000 depending on experience.&nbsp;<br><br></p> <p><strong>Daily Duties&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist LAWA with planning of procurements and setting pre-award schedules for contracts including Board actions</li> <li>Assist in coordination of Pre-Bid/Proposal Meetings to present the Project and RFB/RFP to potential bidder/proposers.</li> <li>Prepare drafts of RFP/RFB addenda for LAWA to review, finalize, and distribute to Planholders</li> <li>Prepare draft award recommendations and Board reports</li> <li>Conform final contract documents</li> <li>Prepare required reports and contractual correspondence</li> <li>Attend various meetings, including pre-bid proposal and post-bid proposal debriefings</li> <li>Assist in Contract standardization process</li> <li>Monitor all aspects of contract compliance</li> <li>Assist in resolving problems and disagreements between contractors and LAWA</li> <li>Review contractor invoices for contractual compliance</li> <li>Conduct closeout actions upon contract completion such as final audit, payment, under the direction of LAWA personnel</li> <li>Coordinate changes across the project environment, ensuring correct procedures are followed and changes are accurately recorded, scheduled and controlled</li> <li>Prepare Change Documents, Task Orders and Change Orders</li> <li>Route Change Documents for signature and tracks status</li> <li>Create and distribute change reports and analysis</li> <li>Support the project management team in maintaining timely and effective change support processes, procedures and systems</li> <li>Lead the development and maintenance of any periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) status reports to keep management and/or owner informed of change progress</li> <li>Ensure that changes properly encumber contractual capacity and budget</li> <li>Coordinate with ADP scheduling to ascertain time impacts of changes under consideration and property documents</li> <li>Assist with implementation of trend and change support programs</li> <li>Contribute to the advancement of ADP’s goals through commitment to productive collaboration with all stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in administration of commercial/government</li> <li>Must have a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilitie</li> <li>Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous positions</li> <li>Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment</li> <li>Effective oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds</li> <li>Must be detail oriented and highly organized</li> <li>Must be able to produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a customer service attitude</li> <li>Knowledge and direct experience in SBE/DBE/MWBE program coordination preferred</li> <li>Experience in alternative project delivery methods including Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design Build preferred.</li> <li>Experience supporting Multiple Award Task Order</li> <li>Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li>Adobe Acrobat</li> <li>Large-scale construction management type software such as PM Web, Primavera</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business related field, as well as training in procurement, contract, construction and commercial</li> </ul> <p><strong>Featured Benefits</strong></p> <p>401(k), Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, 100% employer-paid premiums</p> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p> <p>For over 50 years, Leland Saylor Associates (LSA) has been a nationally recognized construction consulting firm providing expertise in the areas of estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and construction management.
