About the role

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide administrative support ensuring key deadlines are met.  
  • Assist the Legal Team with drafting various legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. 
  • Oversee the maintenance and organisation of the company’s contract database, ensuring all contracts are up-to-date and easily accessible. 
  • Perform first line reviews of low-value contracts and NDAs, identifying any potential issues and ensuring compliance with company policies. 
  • Manage the company’s DocuSign system, distributing contracts for signature and ensuring timely execution. 
  • Attend meetings and accurately document minutes, providing clear and concise records of discussions and decisions. 
  • Conducting research on various legal issues, regulations, and case law relevant to the insurance industry. 
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Team to complete due diligence responses from suppliers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. 

What you'll need:

  • Some proven experience as an Administrator, demonstrating the ability to handle tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office, document management systems and e-signature platforms like DocuSign.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in document drafting and contract reviews.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely in a legal context.
  • Ability to adapt to the changing requirements of the business and handle multiple tasks efficiently. 
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in the Legal and Procurement Teams. 
  • Ability to analyse legal issues and interpret regulations.
