About the role
Overview
Coordinates all aspects of the admission process, including responding to admission inquiries and educating prospective patients, families, and practitioners on hospital treatment programs and services. Ensures that insurance authorization or alternative payment for services is in place prior to admission and work collaboratively with staff to review and schedule new patient admissions. Works closely with community-based referral sources to ensure all necessary referral information and documentation is provided This position is 16 hours per week - Night Shift!

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in a healthcare related field. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
- Two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
- Preferred Qualification(s):
- Aligned with NH’s System of Care, supporting services that are: family-driven, youth-guided, community-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally and linguistically competent.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)
- CPI Certification (within 3 months of hire)
